Squabble:Day 2 NaPoWriMo

Writing prompt: Write a poem that resists closure by ending on a question, inviting the reader to continue the process of reading (and, in some ways, writing) the poem even after the poem ends.

Squabble

One, two, I’m mad at you!
Three, four, can’t take it no more
Five, six, have to fix this
Seven, eight, I think you’re GREAT
Nine, ten, you’re not my friend?
On and on the squabble goes
Does it stop? No one knows

  1. Very nice. I love how bright and cheerful your blog is. I love that quote on top too! It's great you are up and running so quickly!

  2. Lovely, especially as you are "counting" poems this month.
