I started this
blog as a way to participate in a daily poetry writing challenge for National
Poetry Month. I focused on writing children's poetry, although some of the
poems are quite universal. I have kept some of those poems here to share with

I have chosen to use a portrait that one of my first-grade students made of me. It's always interesting to see how children perceive us, and I love the beautiful long eyelashes I have!
